With the conference theme of Modelling for the Future, the World Shrimps Conference & Exhibition i was held between 12-14 November 2019 n Bangkok, Thailand. Evelyne Nusalim, Executive Director of IFSI, gave a presentation titled Achieving Sustainability in Food Safety: An Ethical Code as Corporate Social Responsibilty?’ in which she emphasised the need and urgency for establishing an ethical code for food business operators.

The official launch of the Indonesian Food Safety Institute took place on 19 October 2019, during the Trade Expo Indonesia, at BSD City, Indonesia.
