A visit to the horticultura greenhouses in Cigenang with Mr. Anwar Kurniawan, owner and Mr. Budiharjo Sutrisno, Directors, PT Anta Tirta Karisma. They produce the greenhouses themselves and have established their own irrigation system for various plants, herbs as well as fish ponds.

The Bakau Hijau Sungai Merbok, Malaysia is am oyster farming and mangrove recovery community initiative led by Pak & Mak Suk. They also run a boat hotel, organize guided tours for tourists and provide training for community.  The oyster farm is an initiative of Prof. Dr. Aileen Tan from CEMACS, University Sains Malaysia.

An interesting visit to the Marine station of the Centre of Marine and Coastal Studies (CEMACS, University Sains Malaysia) in Penang, where we learned about the research that is conducted in the laboratory on commercial valuable products living in the surrounding sea, such as sea cucumbers, mantis shrimps, oysters, seagrapes, among others.
